TERM 1 SELF-QUIZZING
Self-quizzing is a study technique that pupils can use to test their knowledge and understanding of a subject by recalling information without using their notes or knowledge organisers. This method helps to reinforces learning, identify gaps in comprehension and enhance retention by engaging in active recall, which is proven to strengthen memory.
Self-quizzing can take place using flashcards, look, cover, write & check, filling in the blanks. Self-quizzing encourages pupils to take ownership of their learning and promotes a deeper understanding of the material.
